I am a Principal Research Scientist at Georgia Tech working with the Partnership for Advanced Computing Environments (PACE), our high-performance computing group under Georgia Tech’s Office of Information Technology. Previously, I have worked as a research scientist in the School of Computational Science and Engineering (CSE) from 2013 to 2015 and as a research scientist in the School of Computer Science (SCS) from 2015 to 2024.

I am currently serving as the co-director of Georgia Tech’s Center for Scientific Software Engineering, and I am the director of Georgia Tech’s Open Source Program Office.

With a background in computer architecture, my main research interests are focused on the intersection of high-performance computing and novel accelerators including GPUs, FPGAs, and Arm and RISC-V processors. In addition to my work with PACE as the lead for next-generation computing strategy, I am also the director of a novel architecture testbed, the CRNCH Rogues Gallery. This NSF funded testbed aims to simplify and democratize access to novel post-Moore accelerators in the neuromorphic, near-memory, and novel networking spaces.

I defended my PhD in August 2013 in the area of computer architecture working under Dr. Sudhakar Yalamanchili. More information on this networks- and memory-related research can be found under the publications tab.
